Flyover country, in the middle of night, Regina Nighthawk patrols the streets. Any danger, a broken nail to a stolen bag, Nighthawk will be on the prowl. After 4 years of adult jail and 6 years of rehab, Regina became the Nighthawk. She at first, was jailed for vigilante, but then the government decided they could use her for "special circumstances." You see, she was no ordinary teenager. In fact, she was a vampire, one who never aged, never was hungry, and was never hurt.
This could potentially lead to danger when she must be fighting crimes and not going on a date with her current eye-candy.
In the middle of August, Nighthawk heard a cry, and raced to the middle of Barren Woods, and found her arch enemy, Chokato, the emperor scientist. An epic battle went on until the sun began to peak from the horizon. Regina knew that this was not good news, for she had very sensitive vampire skin, and did not want a sunburn for the prom, which would be the upcoming Saturday.
Quick as a mouse, or more a bat, Regina bit the neck of Chokato, and he withered into a slimy salamander.
Then, she tossed the creature into oblivion, and went into a deep sleep until nighttime.

Unusual Animal
In the evening, I stumbled into Audrey’s dark home, and kicked off my shoes. Almost immediately I felt nibbling on my toes and a strange aroma lingered. I looked down at the beast and was startled. This creature was covered in thick fur; its eyes were hidden behind the mass. Daunted, I picked up the animal and began to pet it. When I saw him face-to-face, I was put off.
He had large, sharp teeth that were visible through the wild hair. At first I feared for my own safety, then realized that Audrey’s pet was gentler than your average ferret. As I inhaled I exhibited the foul odor expelling from Sebastian. Though I will not be able to describe the smell with great detail, imagine the smell of steamed asparagus combined with an alpaca farm.
Then I patted the being somewhere roughly between his eyes and he responded with an affectionate sound and nibbled on my thumb. At that moment I realized that Sebastian was just a young… whatever he… was, and was experiencing teething.
I went into the kitchen and Sebastian followed. Audrey had left me a note on the fridge, telling me the meal that Sebastian preferred. The list read:
2 Pounds of shark meat
4 green olives (without the centers)
¼ pound cow spleen
with a light sprinkling of salt and catsup on the side.
Put all ingredients into the blender, pulse five or six times
I laughed, expecting this to be a joke, then turned to look at Sebastian patiently waiting, and prepared his meal. After he devoured the dish in roughly 7 seconds flat, he fell fast asleep.
I admired the beast for another moment or two and left the house with mixed feelings of confusion and jubilance that lasted until the next time I would see Sebastian again.

Pheona McAdamson of Iowa
The mind of a sophisticated individual enclosed in the mind of young Pheona McAdamson. At age six, her sassy attitude and mature humor isolated her from her peers. Adults laughed to see when ten-year-old Pheona pranced around with glasses on her nose and wisdom that outsmarted adults. Even in the southern town of Big Otter, Iowa, Pheona was in no way going to be held back from her aspirations. She aspired to do great things and save hundreds of people. Her family members and friends mocked her sense of pride. And even when the people mocked her, she stood up and shut these people down.
Pheona's parents feared that their little girl would be lost in the outer world, Big Otter was quite a seclusive area. There were similar values strung throughout each family, and everyone followed their parents lives. Pheona didn't want to be a raddish farmer anymore, no! She wanted to cure the common cold, save starving children in Africa, and make the world peaceful.
Then, she went on a boat and fell into the water. Three sharks devoured her. The end.
